The Outback Camel Company continues to draw on its 34 year history of providing treks & expeditions in the vast deserts of Central Australia, whilst Australian Desert Expeditions conducts scientific and ecological survey expeditions.

Both companies provide participation-based trips which not only are the direct link to 19th Century Desert Exploration & Afghan Cultural Heritage, but also enable you to experience the Australian desert in a truly unique and enriching manner.

OCC explores the great deserts on contemporary expeditions whilst ADE journeys are more focused on the desert ecology and are accompanied with a selection of archaeologists, botanists, ecologists and/or historians whom are familiar with the particular desert in which they are travelling. Consequently, ADE trips spend more time 'investigating' the country.
